im planning on going to Sharm on holiday and would like to take my advanced open water course. Any recommendations on which time of the year to go with the least amount of divers in the water?, which area to stay in?, what happens with visas?,proffesional dive centres? any help will be much appreciated.

Hi Duke I have just booked my partner in for his AOW course. I have booked with Dive Africa who are a 5 star Padi site. Their prices are in USD which for us at the moment makes the cost really cheap. As for the best time with the least divers in the water I would say Jan, Feb or Nov.If you want to be close to nightlife, restraunts, bars I would recommend you stay in Naama Bay (Ocean Bay Hotel do some cheap deals or a little more upmarket , Naama bay hotel, If you are going diving you will need to get your visa at Sharm airport they are working out at around 12gbp at the mo.. if you require any further info let me know...Cheers Bridge
